Vrat Pulao
Ingredients:
2 Cloves (Lonng)
3 Cups of water
2 Cardamoms (elaichi)
3 Tablespoon Olive Oil
2 Teaspoon kala namak (Rock Salt)
1 Teaspoon cumin seeds (Jeera)
1/2 Teaspoon chilli powder
1.5 Cup of samwat ke chaawal (Vrat rice)
1-2 Cinnamon stick (Dalchini)
How to make vrat ke chawal:
Heat olive oil; mix in Jeera seeds, cloves, elaichi and dalchini.
When slightly brown colored, mix in rice.
Stir-fry till they look a little fried.
Mix in vrat salt, chilli powder and water, and bring to a boil. (You can also steam)
Cook for 15 minutes, covered on low flame.
Garnish with corinder leaves.
Serve Hot
