Pumpkin (Kaddu) Raita

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 Cup pumpkin (kaddu)
  • ½ Cup Water
  • 2 Cups yogurt
  • 1/4 Teaspoon vrat salt
  • 1/4 Teaspoon rocksalt (kala namak)
  • 1/2 Teaspoon mustard (raai) powder
  • 1/2 Teaspoon cumin powder (jeera)
 

Directions:

  • Grate pumpkin (kaddu) and boil water at medium flame.
  • When water dries remove it from the stove and cool.
  • Beat yogurt and blend all the ingredients along with pumpkin (kaddu).
  • Refrigerate and serve chilled.
