Low-Fat Yogurt Berry Parfait Recipe For Breakfast

Yogurt Berry Parfait is a very light yet filling breakfast. It is not necessary to use yogurt only. You can replace it with mascarpone cheese, whipped cream or ice cream. So now lets begin with the list of ingredients that you require for making this parfait.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup of Granola
  • 1 Cup of Greek Yougurt or thick part of homemade curd
  • 1 Cup of mixed berries like Raspberries, Blackberries, Blueberries, Strawberries etc.
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • Honey to taste
 

Preparation time:  10 minutes

Serves: 2

Directions:

1. Toss berries with sugar and keep them for 5 to 10 minutes. Adding orange zest or lemon is also a good idea for getting some added flavor. 2. Take 2 glasses and layer them with 1 tbsp of yogurt followed by 1tbsp of berries and 1 tbsp of granula. 3. Keep on repeating this process till the glass is filled. 4. Yogurt Berry Parfait is ready so you can serve immediately.
