How to Prepare a Healthy Nugget Upma

  • 1/4 cup nuggets
  • 200 ml water
  • 1/2 dalchini
  • 1 cardamom
  • 1 onion
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 pinch red chili powder
  • 1/2 tbs lemon juice
  • 1 tbs oil
  • Pinch of garam masala
  • Pinch of tandoori masala

How to cook

  • Wash and soak nuggets for water for an hour.
  • Add dalchini and cardamom to the heating oil in the pan.
  • Add tomato puree and cook it for 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Add chopped onion, salt and red chili powder.
  • Add soaked nuggets and cook till it is almost dry.
  • Add tandoori masala and garam masala to it.
  • It is almost done, now just add little lemon juice on the top and serve hot.
