Asparagus with tomato


  • 350g fresh asparagus spears
  • 4 medium tomatoes
  • pepper ,salt as per taste


Trim off woody part of asparagus stems and discard.

Using a vegetable peeler,peel spears in downward action to remove woody parts.

Add asparagus to the boiling water and cook for 5-6 minutes,or until tender.

Drain and keep warm.

Cut tomato in half and place on grill rock with asparagus.

GRILL as required.

To serve,sprinkle the tomatoes with pepper and salt to taste.*
