Things You Need: For the Dough Whole wheat flour - Half a cup + some for rolling Oil - 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
For The Apple Whip Thinly sliced apples - 2 cups Brown sugar- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon powder (dalchini) - 1/4 teaspoon
Oil for greasing - 1/2 teaspoon Garnish - 1/2 cup vanilla cream
Preparation: 1. Combine all the ingredients of the dough in a bowl and knead it into a soft one with water. 2. Make 5 equal parts of the dough and now roll out the smaller portions into round chapatis using the extra wheat flour so that the dough doesn’t stick. 3. Now place a flat pan on flame and cook the chapatis on medium flame. Cook well on both sides. 4. Keep these aside for meantime. 5. Now in a broad pan (non-stick) add apple slices, brown sugar and half a cup of water into it. Heat and cook this on medium flame for 8-10 minutes. Keep stirring the contents. 6. Next, remove the content from flame and mash this mixture. 7. Add to this cinnamon, and after mixing it all divide the content into 5 equal parts.Let it cool. 8. Now is the time to stuff your already cooked chapatis with the apple mixture. 9. Place the chapatis one by one on a dry surface, place the stuffing in middle and then roll up the chapati tightly. 10. When you’ve got all your 5 rolls ready, place them on a baking tray (already greased with oil). Brush on some oil on the rolls too. 11. Bake for 20 minutes in a pre-heated oven at 200 degrees. 12. Remove and the rolls are ready to be served with vanilla cream.
