1-3 cup sugar (slightly less than ½ cup) or to taste, 2 almonds shredded (optional)
2-3 pista, soaked, peeled and sliced
2-3 chotti elaichi (Cardamoms) – powdered
1 table spoon Rooh Kewra
Few strands of kesar
Directions:
Soak brown rice for an hour and then grind very fine. Mixed the paste in ½ cup of double toned milk to make it thin.
Mix the paste then with remaining 3 cups milk in a bottomed pan. Cook on medium heat continuously, till the mixture is of creamy consistency. Add sugar and elaichi powder and stir.
Simmer till the sugar fully dissolved and then boil for 1 min.
Remove the pan from the heat, add rooh kewra. Serve the mixture into 6 small containers. Chill. Decorates each dish with kesar.
