An Ayurvedic diet plan to keep you fit and healthy

- Try to consume dinner between 5pm to 8pm.
- Avoid eating anything anything after 9 pm as digestion process is slow at that time and that may lead to unwanted weight gain.
- Avoid excessive snacking between meals and avoid consuming high amount of caffeine.
- Eat a light snack with tea in the late afternoon so as to make your digestive system ready for the impending dinner.
- Spices like ginger,black pepper and cinnamon must be included in every meal.
Drink a glass of water with 1 tbsp honey and 3 tbsp lime juice mixed in it after waking up. - For breakfast; a bowl of seasonal fruits or oatmeals with skimmed milk could be considered.
- For lunch; Carrots, cucumber, cabbage and tomatoes salad is beneficial. Whole wheat chapatis with boiled or steamed vegetables is good.
- Chapatis and steamed vegetables are good for dinner. Keep your salt intake as low as possible.
